Waldorf-Inspired Art & Music Lessons

Private or group Sessions

Music is the expression of the will of nature, while all other arts are expressions of the idea of nature.

Waldorf Teaching Experience

Led by a certified Waldorf-trained teacher with over 40 years of classroom experience, this offering brings a depth of wisdom, presence, and artistry that is increasingly rare. Children are guided by an educator who understands not only technique but the developmental needs of each age, meeting students with intention, rhythm, and care. Through this seasoned mentorship, students are supported in cultivating confidence, creativity, and a genuine connection to their own expressive capacities.

Our Art & Music Lesson Offerings

MUSIC Lessons

Music is approached as a joyful and communal experience, where rhythm, melody, and coordination come to life through percussion, ukulele, and recorder. Students build foundational musical skills while developing listening, cooperation, and a sense of harmony within the group. Whether keeping rhythm together or learning simple melodies, children experience music not as performance, but as a living, breathing art that nurtures both the individual and the collective.

Art Lessons

Students are invited into a living world of color, texture, and form through a thoughtfully curated range of mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and charcoal. Each material offers its own unique language, allowing children to explore contrast, movement, light, and depth in developmentally appropriate ways. Rooted in the Waldorf approach, the process is emphasized over product—encouraging imagination, patience, and a deepened sense of observation as students engage with their work.

Individual or Group Sessions

Whether in one-on-one sessions or small, thoughtfully composed groups, students receive attentive guidance in a calm and focused environment. Individual lessons allow for highly personalized instruction, while group settings foster collaboration, listening, and shared creative experience—both essential elements of a well-rounded artistic education.

The heart of the Waldorf method is that education is an art-it must speak to the child's experience. To educate the whole child, his heart and his will must be reached, as well as the mind.
